Granville, NY - Thomas J Fennell died on November 17, 2017 with his family by his side.

Thomas was born on February 6, 1930 in Bradford, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Thomas F. and Margaret (O'Connor) Fennell.

He was a loving and caring husband, friend, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Thomas was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

He was a master electrician, amateur genealogist, artist and accomplished athlete as well as an avid golfer. In later years he became a sought-after golf teacher. He loved golf and its peaceful courses.

Thomas was predeceased by his daughter, Leah Ellen Fennell, his brother John Fennell and his sister Mary Fennell.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Fennell, 4 daughters: Jean Mason, Julie Balick, Lynn Fennell, and Bridget Fennell. He was blessed with five grandchildren: Shannon Mason, Fred Mason IV, Mikahel and Laura Balick and Nastassja and Anthony Coppers, and Alexandre Fennell and seven great grandchildren: Trey, Chloe, Charlotte, Bentley, Ryker, Harper and Laia. He is also survived by a sister Norma Alviti and a family friend Fred Mason III and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2 PM at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 23 Bulkley Ave., Granville with the Rev. Joseph Arockiasamy presiding. Friends may call at the church from 1-1:55 PM on Tuesday. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
