Frank Phillip Andrews Granville, NY – Frank Phillip Andrews, 82, of Granville, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 28th, 2022. Frank was born on February 14, 1940 in Granville, NY the son of Branard and Amy (Tift) Andrews. He was a hard-working man holding occupations in farming, construction, and the slate business. He worked at Greenstone Slate for more than 20 years punching slate, a job which he was eager to return to. He was a provider for not only his family but anyone that needed a helping hand. Frank would welcome anyone into his home without a second thought. He had the biggest heart and was a selfless man, filling everyone's life with joy. One of the fondest memories of Frank was in the love he had for his family, assuring attendance at their sporting events. He was always there cheering them on from the sidelines. He supported everyone in everything they did. Frank didn't have a mean bone in his body and there wasn't anybody that he wasn't a friend to. His contagious smile, warm hugs and kind heart will be missed immensely. Frank was predeceased by his parents, a brother Branard Andrews. Survivors are his wife Anna (Burch) Andrews. He will be missed beyond measure by his four children: Frank Andrews, Jr. Donna Conklin (Michael), Kenny Andrews (Christy) and Holly McClure (Gary). He was blessed with 12 grandchildren: Alisha MacNeil(Ramie), Jacob Printy (Sarah), Molly Rowland (Nick), Melinda Baxter (Kyle), Abigail Markiewicz, Adam and Chloe Andrews, Michael Conklin, Olivia, Leeanne, Leroy and Luke Wilson and 9 great grandchildren: Logan, Annabelle and Liam MacNeil, Isabella and Gabby Printy, Harper and Chase Rowland Sophia Conklin and Sophie Baxter. Also surviving are his siblings: George, Robert and Leonard Andrews, Carol and Grace as well as several nieces and nephews. Frank and Anna had many children come through their home and they loved every single one of them like they were their own. One in particular is Stephanie (Krawczyk) Bates was one they definitely thought of as a daughter. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 5-7 PM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St. Granville, NY. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, August 6th , 2022 at 30 Mettowee St. Granville at 2 PM. All are welcome and encouraged to bring a dish to pass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Frank's memory may be made to the Granville Rescue Squad, POB 153, Granville, NY 12832.
