Marcia R Gilbert passed away on April 3, 2024 at Washington Center in Argyle, NY following a long illness.

Marcia was born on June 2, 1944 in Granville NY the daughter of Michael and Veronica (Thomazewski) Gilbert.

She was a graduate of SUNY Buffalo with a Bachelors degree. She worked at the Terrace Hill School in Buffalo with children who had behavioral issues. In a short time, she moved to the West Coast and attended San Diego State Teachers College where she obtained her Masters. She worked as a counselor in the San Diego School System for the rest of her career.

Marcia was predeceased by her parents. Survivors are her brother Michael J. Gilbert and his wife Susan of Ballston Spa, NY, a nephew Michael and his wife Catherine of Niskayuna and a niece Julie Hill and David her husband of Ballston Spa.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday ,May 4, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Middle Granville, NY.
