I can rember when I was young and could peek over the counter at my Father's store.( Walter Clark's).
I was in awe of this big dump truck that came rolling in. Out hopped a man hustling along . I peeked over the counter and there he was , big as life, asking for a chocolate Hershey bar and grabbing a Pepsi out of the cooler, with that grin on his face..
He was always bigger than life to me. R.I.P

First met Bud when he and Larry came to Granville High School in 1956. Although I moved away from town we remained long distance friends for life. As I recall, Bud pretty much came from "nothing" and through hard work and determination, accomplished much in life.
One thing we often shared was a front row seat at HS basketball games. It was called the bench but it was during the practices that we made the others better. Kind of what he did throughout life--made others better.
RIP my old friend.
