Myron "Mike" Dickinson

Myron "Mike" Dickinson, age 87, passed away at Glens Falls Hospital on December 23, 2024.

Myron was born on July 3, 1937 in Hartford, NY the son of Frank and Catherine (LaFoy) Dickinson.

Mike attended school at the Hartford Central School in Hartford, NY. As a young man he worked at local farms and installing lockers for schools, etc. He was later able to join Sheet Metals Local 83 in Albany, NY He was the Vice President for 7 years while continuing to be a working member for 30 years, remaining a member for 61 years until his passing.

He enjoyed tending bar for Paul Collins (The Wayside), attending car races, going to casinos and camping.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, sisters Harriet Humason, Joan Clemons and brother Wallace "Skip" Dickinson. He leaves behind to miss him until they meet again his wife Maxine M (McGraw) Dickinson. He was the father of Cristi L. Dickinson and Myron "Mike" Dickinson. He was blessed with a granddaughter Caleigh and grandson Cameron O'Malley and a beloved goddaughter Krissy (Coley) Thompson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mike was also grateful for the friendship of his special friends Paul Collins and Gary Nolin.
