Barbara Bogucki Carroll passed away on March 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. Gram was born on January 11, 1939, to Stacia (Stokowski) and Frank Bogucki in Hampton, New York.

She graduated from Poultney High School and earned her associate's degree at Green Mountain College.

In her early years, she worked in Albany before she returned to the Granville area to work, where she met and married the love of her life, Harry Carroll, in 1964. She worked at Allan Vanderminden Insurance before she became a full-time Mom to raise her five children, returning to work in the early 1980s at Sherwood Medical as a Production Secretary, retiring in 1994.

After her retirement, her focus was on her greatest love, her family.

She was a loving mom and then Gramma to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Many others also called her Gram, who became her extended family, coming in and out of her home on a daily basis. We often said Gram's house was like Grand Central Station, and she loved it.

Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Patrica Hunt (Frank) and Timothy Carroll (Dee Dee) of Granville, Margaret Little (Robert) of Cossayuna, Barbara Carroll (Michael) of Tupper Lake, and Kathleen Byrne (Michael) of Mendon, Mass. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Brianna Gould (Greg), Nicole Hoagland (Connor), Gabriella Hunt, Alexis Carroll (Morgan), Brayden Carroll of Granville, Lauren Denis, Mason and Trinity Vaillancourt of Tupper Lake, and Nicholas, Jack and Michael Byrne of Mendon, Mass. She was also blessed with her great-grandchildren Grayson and Frankie Gould, and Connor Jack Hoagland.

Gram is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry, who passed away in 2011, as well as six brothers: Jack, Francis, Theodore, Charles, Raymond and William Bogucki.

A memorial service will be held at noon on March 11, 2025, at the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St, Granville. A private burial will be held in the spring.
