Michael P. Carman Obituary

Michael P. Carman, 45, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 5, 2025.


Mike was born in Syosset, NY on October 11, 1979 the son of Larry and Linda (Malik) Carman.


In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his two sisters Diana Carman Canning and husband John of Hyde Park, NY and Brenda Carman Ekstroem and husband Chris of Racine, Wisconsin. Also surviving are aunts Lynn Lewis and Sonja Schaffner, uncles James Carman, Michael and Robert Malik along with a niece Tabitha Canning and two nephews, Ethan and Aiden Ekstroem.


Prior to his disability Michael learned the art of carpet installation. Having mastered the trade his entrepreneurial side took over and he formed his own carpet installation company.


Mike enjoyed NASCAR racing and if they were running you knew he would be watching.He was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and like all Buffalo Bills fans he was still waiting to win the "big" one.


He was an avid model railroader, enjoying the HO scale trains to the extent that he had an entire room set-up to run and display them in.


A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 8 PM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church Street, Granville, NY led by Pastor Richard Murray. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
