Granville, NY - Sherry F. Shaw was born on February 26, 1946 in the town of Granville, N.Y. She passed away on May 15, 2025 at Glens Falls Hospital after a short illness.

Sherry graduated from Granville Central School and resided in the town for her entire life. She dedicated her life to Sherwood Medical in Argyle, New York for approximately 37 years. In addition to her time in Argyle she also worked briefly at BARD.

She enjoyed cooking and making meals for her companion, Jim Mitchell, who she was with for many years. Meeting friends for coffee at McDonalds was a favorite past-time, as well.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her special friend Jim Mitchell, her cousins, Lorraine Holcomb, Leon Tifft, Larry (Kathy) Tifft, Jack (Maryjane) Tifft, Janet (Ralph) Pagano, Shirley Bacon, Joan Frederick, Cindy Hunt and Judy Cook. Her cousin Janet remembers the excursions to amusement parks and yearly shopping trips Sherry would take her on. They provide many happy memories.

Friends may call on June 11, 2025 from 3-4 PM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St. Granville. A memorial service will be held at 4 PM.
