Granville, NY - Nancy Laing Hulett passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 8, 2024 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Nancy was born on April 26, 1947 in Granville, NY the daughter of the late Neal L. and Josephine (Williams) Hulett.

Nancy graduated from the University of Delhi with a degree Veterinary Technology.

She worked at the Washington County Department of Social Services for 37 years. In keeping with the family tradition, Nancy was a liscensed pilot. She was an avid reader and loved downhill skiing. She was a life long horse owner. She did competitive trail, eventing and dressage. Nancy competed in show jumping at Symmes farm in Saratoga, NY. She was a member of the Green Mountain Horse Association and Eastern New York Dressage Association. She was a 4-H leader for the Trailblazer's 4-H Club in addition to being a counselor at Camp Catherine Capers.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her two sisters Christine Pimentel of Kihei,Maui, Hawaii and Kathy Hulett Bailey of West Pawlet, VT. Nancy is also survived by a nephew Neal Pimentel (Lucy) also of Maui.

At her request there will be no service at this time.
