It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Alexandre Nykolas Fennell on the 6th of August, 2025 with loving family by his side.

Alexandre was a strong, creative, intelligent and thoughtful soul far beyond his years. His love of fine arts, photography, literature and travel were a mitigating and contributive force in his life.

He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Joseph Bowen, maternal grandparents Margaret and Thomas Fennell and aunt Leah Ellen Fennell.

Alexandre is survived by his mother, Bridget Fennell, father, Brian Bowen and paternal grandmother Alma Bowen. He is also survived by his maternal aunts, Jeanne P. Mason, Julie K. Balick, Lynn M. Fennell, maternal uncle Fred Mason, cousins Shannon Mason (Trey, Bentley, Harper, & Ryker) and Freddy Mason, Mikhael & Laura Balick (Laia), Nastassja Balick Coppers & Anthony Coppers (Chloe, Charlotte & Maximilian) and paternal aunt Stacey Bowen and cousin Kyle Knight (Rachel).

The family is eternally grateful for the medical care provided by Dr. Nishida and Dr. Misawa and the entire medical team at Westchester Medical Center Hospital, Westchester, NY and Dr. Larson of Community Health Center Mettowee, Pawlet, VT.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Granville, NY at 11 AM with Father Joseph Arockiasamy presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Westchester Medical Center Foundation, 100 Woods Road Taylor Pavillon, Suite C3, Valhalla, NY 10595.
