Queensbury, NY - Michael B. "Measho" Billow passed away on September 8, 2025 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY following a short illness.

Measho was born on March 19, 1940 in Granville, NY the son of the late William and Mary (Dirga) Billow.

He was a graduate of Granville High School. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy.Measho married Betty Mosher. They celebrated 50 years of wedded bliss on August 30.

Measho did accounting at Durock in West Pawlet, VT for 8 years. He then went to work for Green Mountain Slate doing mill work for the next 13 years. He spent 22 years working for the NYS Department of Transportation in Warrensburg from which he retired. He and Betty made their home in Thurman for 42 years. Most recently they moved to an apartment in Queensbury.

His favorite hobby was fishing and spending time with Betty.

Measho was predeceased by his parents, and brothers Bill and Phil Billow. He is survived by his loving wife Betty, and brothers Stephen, Don and Dave Billow, along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral will be held on Monday September 15, 2025 at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Granville at 11:30 AM. with military honors.
