Frederick Rozell, 79, of Middle Granville, passed away September 28, 2025 at Glens Falls Hospital.
He was born on August 15, 1946, in Hampton, NY the son of the late Barlow Rozell and Lillian (Hewitt) Pekins. Fred was the youngest of 16 children.
He is survived by his daughter Becky (Russ) Monger of Granville, his daughter April Rozell of NH, his wife Deborah of Middle Granville and his grandchildren RJ and Baylee Monger, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Fred worked at Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont, first as a groundskeeper and then as a custodian for 25 years before becoming injured on the job. He took great pride in his work as he was responsible for seven buildings. Rozie, as his coworkers called him, was frequently requested, knowing the job would be done right. He was proud that his boss never checked his work, confidently that it would be correct.
Fred enjoyed watching Nascar, listening to old time country music, watching the old black and white TV shows, and most of all, visiting with his family and caregiver, Janine.
At Fred's request there will be no visitation.
