Douglas L. Williams II Obituary

Douglas Lloyd Williams ll, passed away peacefully December 23rd, 2025 at UVM Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on April 14, 1974 in Milford, CT, the son of the late Douglas L. Williams and Patricia (Daly) Wimley.


He spent his childhood in Wells and Danby, riding horses, fishing and playing basketball with all his friends and family. He loved riding dirt bikes and general guy mischief.


Doug went to Mill River Union High School.


In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his grandparents Art and Marie Daly and Dick and Dorothy Williams. Doug loved being a part of two big families.


Doug is survived by his partner of more than twenty years, Mary Labas, daughter Cathrine Williams, son Dylan Donahoe, grandson Lucas Donahoe, stepfather Richard Wimley, sisters Sarah Strobridge, Jennifer Louden, Melissa Wimley, brothers Sean and Dale Williams and many nieces and nephews.


There will be a celebration of his life on January 3, 2026 at 1 PM at the VFW Pavilion on North Street in Granville, NY. Please bring a dish to share and a story to tell.
