Bruce David Williams, age 85, passed away on May 15, 2026 following a long illness.
Bruce was born on November 14, 1940 in Granville, NY the son of William G. "Curly" and Minnie (Schermerhorn) Williams.
Bruce was a graduate of Granville High School. He was employed at NYSEG for 42 years as a lineman. He was a avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He enjoyed line dancing. Bruce always looked forward to trips to Old Orchard Beach. He was a fan of digging clams and having clambakes. In his retirement years, Bruce enjoyed gardening.
He was predeceased by his parents, siblings: Mary Williams, Judy Waite, a son David Williams, a daughter Donna Martell and a daughter-in-law Leishann Shaw and his beloved wife Carla. Survivors are his son Dan (Sue) Williams, Debbie (Gene) Williams, Caenwyn Williams, step-son Jim Shaw and his brother Bill (Mary Jean) Williams. He was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 13 ,2026 from 1-4 PM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church Street, Granville, NY.
