Bernard M. Pauquette
WHITEHALL, NY - Bernard M. Pauquette, died peacefully in his sleep on February 9, 2017 at the age of 87. He was born in Dannemora, NY on December 16, 1929, the second son of Melvin and Marion (LaBarge) Pauquette.
Bernie is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Vivian (Potter), as well as brothers Ed, Richard, Andy, Melvin, sister Sharon, son Bernard, daughter Michelle, stepdaughter Deborah, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, as well as brothers Frank, Jim and sister Jeanne.
Bernie served in the US Navy for 16 years before joining the Navy Reserves. He was employed by General Electric in Fort Edward, NY prior to his retirement.
Bernie was a long-time member of the Whitehall Elks Club BPOE #1491 and greatly enjoyed the brotherhood of being a Member. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing at Skenesborough Golf Club.
There will be no calling hours. A private family memorial service and burial will held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert M King Funeral Home in Granville, NY.
