Obituary of Jean A. Brown

Jean A. Brown Wells, VT – Jean A. Brown, age 68, passed away at UVM Medical Center on June 21, 2018 following a short illness. Jean was born on June 5, 1950 in Granville, NY the daughter of the late Edwin and May (Reed) Brown. Jean's family was always first and foremost in her heart. Having never had children of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews immensely. She and her sister Carla were extremely close. They, along with their mother ran a ceramics business for many years together which stemmed from their love of the art. She enjoyed traveling to Maine and breathing in the wonderful ocean air and sharing in the other sights and sounds which it brought with it. She loved flower gardening. For many years she taught Sunday School at the Methodist Church in Wells. Jean was predeceased by her parents and two brothers Raymond and James Brown. Survivors are her brother Donald and his wife Adria of Wells, a sister Carla of Wells and Krista Crossman and her husband David of Castleton Vermont. She is also survived by her beloved canine companion Susie. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11 AM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, NY.
