Obituary of Robert Harold Tucker

Robert H. Tucker, Sr. Granville, NY – Robert Harold Tucker Sr. age 75, passed away on November 11, 2018 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Robert was born on November 3, 1943 in Glens Falls, NY the son of the late Claude and Elizabeth (Golden) Tucker. Robert was a proud Air Force veteran and served in the Navy Reserves. He retired from New York State Corrections Department where he worked for many years as the powerhouse engineer at both Great Meadow and Washington Correctional in Comstock. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially loved to cook. He was predeceased by his parents, his twin brother Richard and brother Carl. Survivors are his three sons Robert Tucker Jr. of Florida, Kevin Tucker of Queensbury and James Tucker of Fla. He leaves behind two siblings: a brother Gary of Hudson Falls and sister Claudia Mulhall of Hartford. He was blessed with three grandchildren Jason, Jenna and Dylan Tucker. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Francis Tucker of Florida, his canine companion JD, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call from 2-4 pm on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, NY. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at the American Legion on Pearl St. in Hudson Falls, beginning at 5:30. Burial will be at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY at future date.
