Obituary of Deborah Ann Saunders

Deborah A. Saunders

Granville, N.Y. – Deborah Ann Saunders, 61, passed away on May 3, 2019 at her home in Granville, N.Y.

Deborah was born to parents Richard Nauman and Olive LaBonte on December 17, 1957 in Fitchburg, MA.

She graduated from Middlesex High School in Townsend, MA. in 1976 and in 1994 she earned her criminal justice degree from Fisher College.

Deborah was cherished by her loved ones. She was an amazing person. She was down to earth and free spirited. Deborah was always smiling and had the best courageous laugh. She was awesome. For example, she would talk about becoming part of an avid bigfoot community and talked about joining to track that Yeti down. LOL.

One of Mom's biggest beliefs and favorite sayings was "Watch what you put out in the world because Karma will come back at you ten fold". She loved life, loved reading, loved coloring, and collecting things. Deborah enjoyed the "Walking Dead" guys, Game of Throne figures and Lighthouses. Every chance she could, she would go to the beach, just to walk on the sand and watch the waves. Always by her side was her Bella Pie. Our Mom made sure that we were ok and that we knew how much we were loved. There won't be a day that she isn't missed. We love you so much Mom, thanks for being you.

Deborah is survived by her mother, Olive LaBonte, her brother, Richard Nauman, her sister, Rolisa Amold, her four children, Karrie Beard, Kathy St. Marie, James Saunders and Krista Saunders. Her twelve grandchildren, Kristiana St. Marie, Nathaniel Ingle, Kailey Saunders, Alexander St. Marie, Nicholas Hodgin, Brook Hodgin, Michaela Vance, Joel Ingle, Karmandy Ingle, Jamie St. Marie, Skylar Saunders and Rylee St. Marie. She is also survived by one niece and two nephews. Also, always at her side, her beloved Bella Pie.

Local services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date in Massachusetts.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church Street, Granville, N.Y. 12832
