“Hey Mom! I’m really going to miss you!” I may have lived 3000 miles away, but we had a connection of humor, humility, survival, celebration and the love of family that connected us over those miles! I used to tell people that when I spoke to her on the phone that “I loved to hear her smile!” Yes, her laugh and sense of humor were contagious, infectious and vibrant parts of her personality.
My Mom loved her children... her nieces and nephews... grandchildren.. and great grandchildren!
I have joy in my heart for all the family events she and Sal shared with me and Jim and our family in California over the years. She loved watching her grandsons...Jim 111 and Shawn ... play baseball!
My greatest pleasure is now knowing that she and I will one day be united with our Heavenly Father...”until then, I love & miss you Mom!”
