I thought you would find his last email to me inspiring and typical of the man of God that he was when I let him know I had nuns and monks praying for him:
"I appreciate all prayers. One good thing about my being temporarily sick is that many CHRISTIANS HAVE BEEn COMING TOGETHER IN UNITY trusting in God's unlimited power and love. If it takes my illness to bring the Christian community together, then it is all worthwhile. God works in mysterious ways. Thank you for letting me know.
