JUDITH ANN COOK (7/14/1950 – 2/20/2021) Granville, NY - On 2/20/2021, Judy Cook fell asleep in death after a long battle with illness. Being the youngest of 3 siblings Judy was born to Flora & John Holmes on 7/14/1950. Judy grew up with her brothers Ralph & Eugene on a dairy farm in Middle Granville where she developed a love for horses. She was known for riding bareback and barefoot though she at times used a saddle. Judy kept horses until her health prohibited it. Due to the fine example of her mother, Judy developed a deep love for the Creator Jehovah God and symbolized her dedication to him by water baptism on 9/30/1963. She loved her spiritual brothers and sisters. Many were like her own parents and siblings. Judy fell in love with a young man named Lanceton Cook and they were married on July 1 "in the summer of '69". Together they had 6 healthy boys Randall, Russell, Trevor, Tracey, Justin, & Jordan. For hobbies, Judy loved reading, gardening, volleyball, card games, lighthouses, and trips to Maine. Of course, she adored her grandchildren and they were a great comfort during her illness. Judy was predeceased by her parents John & Flora Holmes, her brother Ralph Holmes, and her husband Lance Cook. Judy is survived by her brother Eugene Holmes and wife Emilia. She is also survived by her 6 children and 9 grandchildren: Randall Cook & husband John Kinnicutt Russell Cook & wife Bonnie Trevor Cook & former daughter-in-law Michelle and their daughter Ariana Tracey Cook & his sons Alex & Rowin Justin Cook & wife Jamie & their children Arielle, Jasmine, Drake & Lilian Jordan Cook & daughters Aislin & Zoey A funeral service is being scheduled remotely over Zoom with both phone and internet access.
