David B. Rathbun Granville, NY – David Brian Rathbun, age 62, passed away at Glens Falls Hospital on April 5, 2021following a short illness. Dave was born on August 21, 1958 in Glens Falls, NY the son of the late Leonard Rathbun and Rita (Hurley) Todd. He graduated from Granville High School in 1977. His love of carpentry served him well, as it was his lifelong employment. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with David John at hunting camp, and enjoyed his friendship at many job sites. Dave "loved a 12 oz. curl like no other" He was predeceased by his parents. Survivors are his children: Brian Rogers, Stephanie Rathbun, David Rathbun (Liz) and step-children Gretchen Stranahan (Johnathan) and Alicia (Todd) Davis. He will be missed by his siblings: Bruce Rathbun, Leonard Rathbun, Jr., Joseph Rathbun and Timothy Rathbun. David is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his lifelong best friend David John Morey. A funeral will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 4 PM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, NY. Friends may call from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. Covid- 19 restrictions apply. Masks must be worn in the funeral home at all times and there are visitor limitations in place. Memorial donations may be made in David's memory to the Granville Rescue Squad.
