Eleanor Joyce Kelly.

Long Beach, CA – Eleanor Joyce Kelly, age 94, passed away on August 31, 2022, in Long Beach, CA.

Joyce was born on August 16, 1928, in Granville, NY the daughter of the late Llewelyn and Mary (Roberts) Jones. She was a graduate of Granville High School. She married Tim Kelly from Middle Granville. They moved to Long Beach, California in 1956.

They made several treks back to "home" over the years.

Joyce will be remembered as a feisty, strong-willed, independent, and fiercely loyal woman. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Nain), great grandmother and aunt. She was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan. Her family is grateful for her love and example. She will be dearly missed.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents, a sister Phyllis Roberts and her husband Tim. She is survived by her devoted daughter Sandy Aguirre and her husband Tom. She was blessed with three grandchildren Jason and Evan Taylor and Sarah Baker-Wynn as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 11AM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, NY. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Middle Granville.
