Marvin F. Devino Granville, NY – Marvin Frederick Devino passed away on September 17, 2022, at Glens Falls Hospital. Marvin was born in Danby, Vermont on August 4, 1935, the son of Kenneth and Irene (Rabatoi) Devino. He was a logger and loved being in the woods. He also enjoyed working on vehicles in his garage. If anyone needed help, Marvin was always there. One time a niece was in the hospital, quite ill. Marvin dropped everything and went to his sister Nancy and her husband's aid milking there herd so that they could go to their daughter's bedside. He was well-known in the area as a hard worker. Even at 87, he was still working as a full-time mechanic at B & R Garage in S. Glens Falls. Another well-known fact was his love of spicy food and pickled eggs. You never had to wonder what was on Marvin's mind because he was certain to tell you. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three siblings: Phyllis Whitney (John), Barbara Fiske (Gordon) and Kenneth "Pete" Devino, two grandchildren, his wife Pat and mother of his children Gail Devino. He was blessed with six children Fred Devino of Hartford, Charlie (Cathy) of Hebron, Jimmy (Nancy) of W. Pawlet, VT, Marvin, Jr (Michelle) of Granville, Sam (Stacie) of Rutland, VT and Lee (Maxine) of Granville and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Missing him will be his siblings Nancy Armstrong (Dick) of Hartford and Mary Boucher (Williams) of Florida and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by longtime friend Wanda Searles. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 11 AM at the Morningside Cemetery in Hartford, NY. Online condolences may be made at www.robertmkingfuneralhome.com.
