Granville, NY – George Hurlburt, age 71, passed away at his home on November 28, 2022.
George was born on March 20, 1951 in Hampton, NY the son of the late Lucius and Nelly (Pope) Hurlburt.
George was a graduate of Granville High School, Class of 1969. He spent his work years in various quarries throughout the valley. He was an avid fisherman who first shared this passion with son and now his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents and several siblings. He will be loved and remembered by his son Jeremy (Corrine) and brother Richard (Rebecca), all of Granville. He was blessed with four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren in addition to many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 4 PM at the Truthville Baptist Church with the Rev. Gebo presiding.
