Lucy M Bennett
Whitehall, NY – Lucy M. Bennett passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 81.
She was born in Granville, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Verna (Holcomb) David Sr.
Survivors include her loving husband Gary Bennett, her three daughters Verna James (Jason), Alizona Gilbert (Paul) and Renee LaFrancis (Randy). She was blessed with grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved very much. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews and many friends in addition to her dog Bella and cat Bobbiesox.
Lucy was predeceased by her two sons Eugene R. James, Jr and Matthew L. James Sr. and two grandsons Scottie A. Palmer and Anthony J Gilbert, two brothers Edward David, Jr. and Leonard David.
She enjoyed yard sales, playing cards, crocheting, and talking on the phone with family and friends, as well as her plants and flowers.
