Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 2, 1935, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Tartarone) DiPalo.
Mary married Walter Joseph Bishop Sr. on November 14, 1954. They moved from Commack, NY and made their home in Hebron in the early 70's.

Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 2, 1935, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Tartarone) DiPalo.
Mary married Walter Joseph Bishop Sr. on November 14, 1954. They moved from Commack, NY and settled their family in Hebron.
Mary graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Oswego in 1995 at the age of 60 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
She was employed as a vocational instructor at Washington Correctional in Comstock, NY for many years.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Walter, and a grandson Jacob. Survivors are her children Denise Bishop-Bernier (Henry) of Chateaugay, NY, Rosemary Bishop of Chateaugay, NY, Walter Bishop III (Maureen) of Granville, NY and William Bishop (Lori) of Granville, NY. She was blessed with six grandchildren: Henry J Bernier (Emily) of Chateaugay, Joseph Bernier of Berlin, Germany, Stephen M Bernier of Austin, Texas, Matthew Bishop of Granville, and Joseph Bishop (Megan) of Hebron. Her blessings extended to her great grandchildren Henry J Bernier Jr, Elise M Bernier, Caiden Bishop and Barrett Bishop.
The funeral was private and at the convenience of the family.
