Beverly Dunbar
Rutland, VT - Beverly Dunbar passed away peacefully at her home on October 17, 2023 following a long illness.
She was born on May 11, 1947 in Smith's Basin, NY the daughter of the late Huey and Gladys (Palmer) Mattison.
She worked as a housekeeper for many years in Killington, VT. and loved life.
Beverly was predeceased by her parents, husband Paul Dunbar in 1985, and a son Paul Dunbar Jr.
Survivors are her nieces and caregivers Cindy Dunbar Chamberland for 21 years, Charlotte Chamberland and Harry E. Chamberland all of Rutland, VT. Her surviving siblings are Richard Mattison, Harry Barthalamew, Mary Fenton, Joanne Duffany, Alice Farnsworth, Ann Barthalamew, and Margaret Dunbar in addition to several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on October 30, 2023 from 11-3 at teh Castleton Legion Post #50.
Burial will be in the spring.
