Wells, VT - Edward Charles Cole passed away on February 5, 2024 following a long illness.
Ed was born on May 16, 1939 in Cambridge, NY the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Kinney) Cole.
He was an avid hunter. He enjoyed riding his ATV and loved camping. One of his favorite treks was driving his mother's 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass, especially to Jen's Pit Stop.
Ed was predeceased by his parents, his wife Diana (Duel) and a daughter Melanie Pratt. He is survived by a son Ed Cole, Jr (Heidi) of West Rutland, a daughter Dorothy Foryan (Tom) of Hampton and a son Ronald Pratt (Christine) of Fairport, NY. He was blessed with eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Ray Cole (Elaine) of Wells.
Following his wishes, there will be no service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Wells Cemetery.
