Just saw this and want to send my sincere condolences. David did upholstery for my Mom back many years ago and it was a beautiful job. Often saw him when I worked in Ames in Granville. We lived on county rte 25 Granville. Mom passed in 1995. I just sold house last year and moved to Queensbury. Had that same furniture until I moved. Was still in excellent shape. Again very sorry. He was such a nice man. David his son also came to pick up the furniture with him. God Bless you all.

Anne, Dave, & Sue-
When I started working in the shop in Sept. of 1990, I spent a lot of time during the first few months on the road w/ your dad installing window treatments and doing deliveries and estimates. It was just him and me, and at first I was petrified of him, but as time went on, I realized that behind that initial "rough around the edges" exterior, was a really caring, considerate, and funny guy. During my years at Warners I learned a lot from him-about the upholstery business for sure, but also about life and how best to approach people and problems with humor -not the least of which were a slew of witty "one liners"-most of which should not be repeated here-that I use constantly! I think of him-and your mom-often, and when I do, "it ALMOST always makes me smile". (one of my personal favorites!)

I had the privilege to work with Mr. Warner before he retired. Mr. Warner was an old time artisan and craftsman, and brought integrity to each project. He was a pleasure to introduce to clients, as he came dressed in a suit, was respectful of their needs and was the consummate professional. There are few that bring Mr. Warner’s level of detail to the building and design industry these days.
Mr Warner was a very hard worker. I hope he had a happy, restful and fulfilling retirement. He deserved to.
My condolences to Mr. Warners family.
