Granville- Joan Elizabeth Moore (Evans), 73, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on August 24.

Joan was born in Granville NY on January 9, 1951 to Henrietta J. Bates and Edward L. Evans. She graduated from Granville High School. She married the love of her life Wayne Moore on July 5, 1969 in Granville NY. She loved bowling, bingo, going to the casino,attending her grandchildrens activities, watching her beloved soap operas, organizing her class reunions, and spending time with her family. Joan will be greatly missed by many.

Joan is predeceased by her parents Henrietta and Edward Evans, her siblings Darlene, Edward Jr, Cindy, and her brother in law Chuck. Joan is survived by her husband Wayne, her children Sue (Tim), Mark, Edward (Missy), her siblings Norma, Donna, Raymond (Kathy), Dorothy (Sam). She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren Corey, Hope (Seth), Kendra, Faith, Paige, Kaleb, Cooper, and 1 great grandchild Felicity.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10 AM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church Street, Granville, NY. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Middle Granville. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28th from 6-8pm at the funeral home. There will be a celebration of life following the funeral at The American Legion.
