Tavious Johnson, 26, passed away on September 12, 2024, at Albany Medical Center. He was born on June 12, 1998, in Atlanta, GA.


Tavious brought joy to everyone he met with his kind heart and radiant smile. He had a passion for basketball, collecting shoes, sports cars, video games, music, and making videos. His presence was a blessing to his friends and family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him


Tavious is survived by his father, Willie Taylor (Claire) his brothers: Gerald Taylor, Quintin Washington, Kameron Taylor, and Kingston Taylor; a sister, Monique Taylor-Johnson, and her children, Jordan and Jiquan Johnson; his step-mother, Barbie Burch; his uncle, RJ; his aunts, Laura and Tanya; and his cousins, Emma, Justin, Spencer, and many more.


Tavious had many close friends throughout the years growing up who became like a second family to him. He will be in the hearts of Christie, Paulette, David, Jen, Dayshawn, Jordan, Cossondra, Pat, Heather, Stefani, Mikey, Wesley, Will, Ron, Destiney, Skyler, Brianna, Felicia, Austyn, Dwyana and Becki forever.


His father, Willie, expressed deep gratitude for the time they shared, cherishing the special bond they had. Tavious will always hold a special place in his father's heart, and his memory will live on forever. Friends may call at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church Street, Granville, NY on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 2-4 PM.
