My condolences. I was unable to come in person as I have had Covid since Friday. Calvin always called by my full first name. I always had a dozen of his pens ready to hand out at The Pine Grove and Scottys. Always the jokester but a good person.

Uncle Calvin was one of a kind with a heart of gold that never met a stranger. He always made sure that everyone was taken care of and having a good time. During their annuls summer vacations at the camp which Dot and Calvin loved to invite and share with everyone. Luckily, we were able to make the camp adventures full of family fun. Of course, Calvin was busy during the day taking down a tree but always came by in the evening to hear about everyone’s day. Calvin loved taking all the kids to the carnival and watching them on the rides but when there wasn’t a carnival, Calvin got his bucket truck and gave all the kids a ride. Unfortunately, the world doesn’t have many people like Uncle Calvin anymore. God Bless.

There are too many memories to share of Cal, his devoted wife Dot and their son Leon. Lovingly referred to as The Mayor of Raceville, his contributions to our little community will live on in our hearts forever. Thinking of you Leon. Hold him in your heart and know he is once again reunited with your Mom. Love you. JoAnne

Calvin I've known you since moving to Granville. Dottie and I were good friends. Thank you for all the trees you've taken down including a dangerous "widow maker" in the back property. You will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend. Marti Desiato

From the time as a young boy to the man I am today always admire his hard work ethic. I love the summers spent in New York with Dot and him. The last time I got to see him was at my cousins wedding in 2017. I will miss you Uncle Calvin. Calvin, Jr. and Leon I am sorry for your loss. He was an incredible man
