North Granville, NY - Patrick Quinlan Locke, age 95, passed away at The Pines in Glens Falls on December 26, 2024.

Quinlan was born on May 17, 1929 in Poultney, Vermont the son of the late Garrett and Elia (Fish) Locke.

Quin's family lived in Poultney, VT during his early years before moving to Granville, NY. After graduation from Granville High School , he earned his BA in Accounting from Siena College in 1951.

He joined the US Navy in early 1953, serving aboard the USS Midway in the Mediterranean until he completed his service in late 1954.

Quin worked as an accountant for General Electric in Fort Edward and Sherwood Medical in Argyle, where he retired.

He married Ann Catherine O'Donnell on August 16, 1975 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Middle Granville, NY.

Quin enjoyed boating and spending time with family at their camp on Lake St. Catherine in Vermont.

In the days of the Adirondack Red Wings hockey team, he was a season ticket holder along with his wife for several seasons. They brought their children to many games as well. He became a big hockey fan and watched NHL games often in his later years.

Quin took his family on a week long vacation in August to Falmouth on Cape Cod. He also took his family to the New Hampshire and Maine coasts several times during the fall. Boston was a favored location for short vacations in the spring.

Quin was predeceased by his parents, Garrett and Elia, his wife Ann Catherine (O'Donnell) Locke, an infant son Kevin Quinlan Locke and a daughter Mary Catherine Locke. He is survived by his daughter Susan Ann Locke of North Granville, NY and Kevin Quinlan Locke II of Queensbury, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral will be held in the spring.
