Glenn C. Gould Pawlet, VT – Glenn C. Gould, age 76, a lifelong resident of Pawlet, passed away surrounded by his family at the UVM Medical Center on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Glenn was born in Pawlet on May 19, 1941, the son of Lawrence and Shirley (Corey) Gould. Glenn was born and raised on his family farm in the Pawlet Valley. Farming was his passion and his love. It was his whole life. He also enjoyed hunting, brook fishing and coon hunting with his dog Buck. Daily visits to Mach's and Sheldon's stores enriched his life. You could always be sure to find him there if not working or at home. He enjoyed his daily rides and visits with Chris Allen. He was a faithful husband and loving father and best grandfather and great grandfather ever. He was loved by many and always had a smile or a laugh to share. Glenn was predeceased by his parents, brother Larry Gould and his faithful border collie of 13 years, Curly. He is survived by his wife Virginia (Woodard) Gould and his children: Deborah Clark (Joseph), Glenn J Gould (significant other Jane Denko) and Mary Gould. He was blessed with six grandchildren: Zachary Stomski (Cassie), Sheena Stomski, Maria Stomski, Donald Gould, Joseph Gould and Hope Gould and four great grandchildren: Zayden Perkins, Benjamin Stomski, Anna Gould, Joey Gould and a soon to be born great granddaughter. In addition, he is survived by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 22 at Noon at the Pawlet Community Church.
