Granville, NY – Charlotte Z. Minogue passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the age of 95 at her home in Granville, NY. Born Charlotte Zoe Monette on March 26, 1928 to Hubert H. Monette and Charlotte (Myers) Monette in Albany, NY. She was a 1946 graduate of St. Agnes School in Albany, NY. She worked in the family business, Morris Diners in Albany until she married John "Jack" Minogue on August 26, 1951 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, Poultney, VT. She and Jack built their home in Granville where she resided for 72 years. Charlotte was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Granville where she was always quietly helping and contributing to her beloved church. She was a wonderful wife to her husband Jack and a dedicated, loving mother to her five children. Family and faith were her priority and we were blessed to be able to call her mom and to have her with us for all these years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Jack M. Minogue, Sr., son Robert J. Minogue, brothers Hubert H. Monette, Jr. and John R. Monette, son-in-law James P. Carli, infant grandson James Carli, sister-in-laws Catherine and June Monette, Kathleen Ward (William), Nora Brown (Raymond) and Monica Martin (James). Survivors include son John M. Minogue, Jr. and his wife Theresa of Saratoga Springs, daughters Charlotte A. Minogue of Glenville, Charlene M. Carli of Saratoga Springs, and Colleen M. Hicks and husband Clark of Granville, nine grandchildren, Michael Minogue (Laurie), Caitlin Clancy (Brian), James Minogue (Kevy), Matthew Carli (Camila), Ryan Carli, Monette Carli, Alicia Tweedy (Michael), Robert Hicks and John Hicks, ten great-grandchildren, Penelope and Olivia Minogue, James, Shea and Tess Clancy, Cora and Bodie Minogue, James Carli, Evan and Carter Tweedy and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 23 Bulkley Ave., Granville, NY on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 12 PM with the Rev. Robert Powhida presiding. Friends and family may call from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM prior to the funeral mass. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, c/o St. Mary's Church, Attention: Emily, 23 Bulkley Ave., Granville, NY 12832 or the Granville Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 153, Granville, NY 12832. The family would like to thank the Glens Falls Hospital, Hudson Headwaters Health Care, High Peaks Hospice, her outstanding caregivers, Cassie Stomski, Lisa Lamarre, Maddie Buffum and Lauren Winslow and all of the people who helped her manage her home and enabled her to live independently.
