Obituary of David Alan Warner

Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
David Alan Warner, aged 86, peacefully passed away at home in Venice, Florida, following an extended period of illness. Born on December 24, 1937, in Bridgeport, CT, to Henry James Warner and Ann (Van Dien) Warner. David proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. David was a devoted husband to Theresa A. Damiano for 46 years and cherished the companionship of Reni Wulfken for the past 17 years. As a successful entrepreneur, David owned Warner's Upholstery in New Jersey for 20 years before relocating his family and business to Pawlet, Vermont, where he continued his trade for an additional 30 years. He fully embraced the Vermont life, enjoying hunting, skiing, boating, riding his Spider and 4-wheeler, and caring for his horses and donkey while winning a few ribbons at shows along the way, but most importantly, he cherished spending time with family and friends. Upon retirement, David pursued his passion for wood carving, creating artwork that is enjoyed by many people in both Florida and Vermont. David was preceded in death by his wife Theresa, grandson Ethan Warner, and brother James Bradford Warner. He is survived by his children, David Warner (Jennifer), Anne Hadeka (Gary), and Susan Rahn (Marc), as well as his beloved grandchildren Sarah, Stacy, Sheryl, Seth, Austin, and Holly and great-grandchildren Kai, Kieran, Connor, and Tessa, Cousins, Nephews and a Niece. David's infectious humor and warm smile will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and creativity will forever endure. Details for David's Celebration of Life will be shared once available. As he often reminded us, 'It's a good thing I'm a patient man'
