I am in total shock; I still cannot believe this. Sam was such a talented, good natured and very funny guy. Every interaction I had with him (not nearly enough) was positive, and I will always regret not having the opportunity to go fishing or hiking with him.
I will think of him every time I look at excellent stonework he did on and around my house; he was a true artisan and he enriched not only our house but our lives.
My sympathies to Steph, Virginia and the rest of his family, I cannot even imagine your pain and grief.
