Obituary of Sam Michael Cappello

Please share a memory of Sam to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sam M Cappello Fort Ann - Sam M Cappello made the decision to leave this earth on December 18, 2018 after many years of struggling with mental illness. Sam was born on December 9, 1965. He was the son of William D and Virginia (Carpenter) Cappello. He loved the great outdoors and living in the foothills of the Adirondacks and proximity to Lake George. He was an avid hunter, hiker and fisherman. He also really enjoyed scuba diving. His work life fit into this love of nature. He was the owner of Real Stone Works for several years and was proud of his work throughout the area from foundation and chimney repairs to building fireplaces from all types of stone and refacing "our house" from siding to Real Stone. A real work of art. He also lived to go to garage sales. He did make many great "finds" and found it hard to drive by a sign on the road without stopping! Sam was fiancé to Stephanie Prevost and was her first love in 8th grade. After reconnecting in 2011, got engaged and she was the love of his life for the past 7 years. In addition to Stephanie, he is survived by his mother Virginia Cappello and two brothers James and Tim. He is also survived by his Uncle Syd and Aunt Robin Belanger, who was like a mother to him.
